Matboard cutter - VALIANI ASTRA 1500

The Astra cutter allows cutting all sorts of matboards, in any of the various thicknesses. Through a setting command placed in the upper side of the blade holder, the cutting depth can be regulated easily depending of the board thickness. The machine has been built with materials of maximum quality.

The steel and bronze allow a perfect and lasting smoth sliding. Furthermore, the cutting head slides on four ball bearings mounted onto 2 steel-made strips, set along both sides of the central aluminium guide. The measuring bumpers are finely adjusted and allow precise cuts on all 4 sides of the matboard drastically reducing overcuts and undercuts at the beginning.
